# Help with themes

 * I dont understand how to make a theme “my own”. I love the way it looks in preview
   and it either looks completely different once I download it, or it looks exactly
   like it and I don’t know how to change it. For example, I really like the theme
   Minimatica, but I have no idea how to change the images to be images I want. 
   I am really new at this and really need the help. I have looked at books on word
   press and I still cant find what I am looking for.

 * If you want to customise a theme, you will need to work with HTML, PHP & CSS.
   I’d suggest starting with [Theme Development](http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development).

 * seriously! I was given the impression that wordpress was going to be easy. It
   has lots of themes to use, well yes, it is that. But only if you want the boring

 * Yah, 1 year ago I didn’t a thing about WordPress and I just kept filling in the
   blanks until I started to experiment. Now I have moved to Aathualpa. You can

   It it goes wrong who is going to notice if you fix it with a few hours?
