# Help with theme / setup

 * Hello all,
 * This is my 1st post so be nice 😛
 * The problem that I am having with my website [here](http://www.madmercsairsoft.co.uk)
   is that the template seems to be set up for blogs and i want this to be a proper
   website not a blog.
 * I was using Joomla previously but that got hacked resulting in having to start
   agian and I was pointed towards WordPress for making a better site.
 * I know little about coding and the bits i have managed on my site is making the
   site wider in the CSS, removing a few side catagories and putting in the sponsor
   banners.
 * What i really really want to do is when i click ne catagory (or page) then you
   can make sub sections that appear below it only when you click on that section.

 * If this can be done can someone please help me
 * Also wen i add an adbrite box to the right sidebar it messes all the theme up
   in IE and makes some of the text take on links to adbrite site
 * how do i put the banner in without messing the theme up?

 * I would suggest looking at several themes and starting with one that is close
   to what you want. For example, the iNove theme already provides a horizontal 
   nav menu with drop-down items for subpages. Regardless of what theme you start
   with though, you will need to get into the code and do some hacking if you want
   to remove the “blog” look.

   is your choice

 * thank you for the WP-dtree, Im checking it out to see if it will do exactly what
   i want, if not i will have to do what figaro suggested.
 * Also please can i get some help regarding the adbrite banner and it messing up
   the site in Internet Explorer.

 * I have changed my theme to iNove as it was better for the sub menus and adbrite
   coding 😀
 * but it does look pretty plain and boring so im trying to edig it and make it 
   look nicer.
 * Im still stuggling to find the file for adding my meta tags too. can someone 
   point me in the right direction.
 * also can i get some critism about my site and tell me what you think i should
   change etc. (the friend that helped me set it up but wont help me make the site
   says it all needs changing)
