Help with theme choice

Hello 🙂 !

So I had an idea of a website for a specific manga news. It is not supposed to be updated very often (since there are no recurrent news) and that’s why the “magazine/news” themes are not my choice.
I’m thikning about a theme that is simple and “sober” like this one for example: http://www.db-z.com

I’m a real beginner, and I hope my question isn’t thal stupid… ^^
