 * Hi, can anyone here give me a link which provides easy to follow instructions
   for securing the word press admin login that is easy for a newbie to follow? 
   I’ve searched the forums and saw some discussion on this matter, but couldn’t
   find anything which explained things in a kind of “securing word press for dummies”
   format. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks

 * That depends on one’s definition of _secure_. I, for one, wouldn’t call admin
   access over unencrypted connections secure.

 * Exactly, are there any easy to follow steps for how to secure the admin access
   so that it the password is not sent over unencrypted connections?
 * I’m not a programmer and am brand new to Word Press so I was looking for something
   that wouldn’t require a lot of hacking files.
