Help with recurring email reminders plugin search

Hello all,

I have been searching for some sort of plugin that will allow me to create email reminders and send them out on a specific recurring schedule.

I have looked around for something like this and have not found anything that works like this.

What I am trying to do is help the people i am working on this site for to migrate away from using Yahoo Groups. They use it because they can setup reminders that go out automatically and it emails everyone that is in the group. They have weekly, monthly and random reminders setup, plus they can do the one-off emails if needed.

So the requirements for the ideal plugin would be:
– User can subscribe on the website and gets added to an email list.
– User gets auto email reminders from the website.
– Admin can setup recurring email reminders in advance.

I don’t really need a event calendar but if it was part of the solution I am fine with it. We really just need the email reminders at this point.

If i could code i would be more than happy to try making one, but that is far outside my realm of skills.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
