    Hi,

In the last step of the checkout.

    Best regards

Hi, I wondered if this “TheCartPress eCommerce Shopping Cart” thing has worked for you. I have wasted a lot of time with different carts and don’t want to do more of time wasting. Just wondered what you think. i just did a “test” purchase on your site and when I inserted all my info, the checkout page disappeared and I got a “404” error message. Are you happy with your choices? Please advise Groggo

    Hi,

Have you tried to make a purchase in the extend site?

Hi again, yes, I made a “test” purchase on the website http://www.accupresh.com , after clicking the “checkout” button I received a “404” error, no page… Maybe it works now? I don’t really want to buy anything, just checking if the plugin works, 🙂

    Uhmmm

I just made a testing purchase and it’s running. I’m now at the Authorize.net page.

I’ve added a product, then “View Cart” and finally “Checkout”.

    This site is using TheCartPress.

    Best regards

Hi, thanks for the fast response. Will give this a go tomorrow and install a test site, thanks, Groggo

@ hartmuntz: I also wasted a lot of time trying to figure out a cart that works, and this one so far has been the only one that really works. I dont know why you got an error message when you tried it. That doesnt usually happen.
@ gonzalez: Thanks for the plugin. Can you advise me on one thing though? If you look at my checkout, by the shipping method, there are two options (if you’re address is in US or Canada)- one option is a price (4.95 for US) and the other is free shipping, which a customer gets if he spends min $40.
How can I make the shopping cart configure the shipping cost? I dont want the customer to have to choose between the two options, instead, I want the checkout to tell the customer what the charge is, depending on how much he spent.
    Please help asap! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Just done another test purchase, seems to work ok.. might install it and see if it works for me, thanks again, Groggo

    Hi, suavedesign

If you want to create a shipping cost for USA and Canada, create a FlatRate method and assign it to USA and Canada.

You can add a FreeShipping method and set minimun to $40.

Both methods must have checked “If applicable, display only this method:”

In the next version, The checkout displays those costs and if only one is available the step will not be displayed (only the title, to see a resume).

    Hi,
Thanks for your quick response but this didnt work for me. Can you go to my site, http://www.accupresh.com and try it? I made a test order for under $40, and when I checked out, the freetrans option came up, even though its set to a minimum of $40.
I put a set rate for US and Canada, and then for the free trans, I put in a min of $40, and set them all to “If applicable, display only this method:”
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot.
