Help with page editor

Hi guys,

This is my first time using wordpress, actually first time building a webpage in general. I have no experience with html, css, etc..

I figured out how to set up menus on my webpage, but can not for the life of me figure out to customize my pages in the way I want them.

I feel as my options seem limited.

I am trying to shoot for something along the lines of this:

I’m running into couple problems. (I am doing this all through visual composer under edit page)

1) Can’t set the image to be centered
2) Options for text area seem very limited (I’m just using text element in visual composer)
3) Line does go spread horizontal enough
