Help with my buddymatic theme

  • Hi

    I am using the buddymatic theme on my WP blog and I really like the simple design. However, there are some corrections I want to make.

    1. I want my header of the blog to be center – and not in to the left. How can I change that?
    2. I would also like my pictures in my posts to be big and to fill the hole screen and also the text to the picture. Like e.g. this blog: http://pagik.dk/

    My own blog is: http://www.skynddiglangsomt.dk/

    I really hope someone can help me because I have been trying for a long time now!

    Best regards
    Helle

  • Hi there!

    First of all, you need to fix your XHTML, it seems you forgot to close your “widget-bar-left”-div.

    Secondly, you should have created a child theme rather than modifying original theme.

    Thirdly, and related to your second question, since you removed sidebar/sidebar divs, you now need to adjust widths of your containers (“content” and “container” divs). Firefox (10+, or you can use Firebug), Opera, Chrome all have developer tools, use them (right-click and select Inspect element).

    And the last thing, related to your first question. The following will center your header title and description:
    #branding { text-align: center; }
