I’m very new to wordpress so please forgive me for my rookie mistakes. I had created my first site on wordpress, did a little editing and it changed the appearance of my website negatively and I couldn’t fix it. So I deleted my website and started a new one with the same template. To make a long story short, somehow all the files (besides my own personal files, not related to the website) have been removed from my FTP site and I have no idea what files I need or how to go about getting them back on my FTP site. That is question number 1. Question #2 – How do I actually make my website go live with the domain, instead of localhost. ALSO, is there a way to edit my website remotely, instead of just at the computer that I have wordpress installed? I do a lot of traveling, and I would like to be able to edit my website on the go. I’m sure this is possible, but could someone please inform me how to do so? Im not sure if that what why my files were removed from the ftp site. Or possibly did a little too much messing around on their. I think I might have found out how to upload them back with Microsft web matrix.
