Help with Installing a Horizontal Menu instead of Drop-down

Hello WordPress community and thank you for your time this afternoon.
We’re currently encountering some difficulty implementing a horizontal menu on our website instead of a drop-down menu. We’ve looked through the forums and can’t find a solution that has worked thus far so we are turning to you for ideas and help!
We are currently using the “Intergalactic 2” theme and have full pro WordPress capabilities, and can tinker with the CSS if needed. Below are some other sources we’ve explored so as to help with what we have already tried and tested. Thanks for the help!!
