    Hello

I am using the Agama theme (https://wordpress.org/themes/agama/) which I think it implements the kirki customizer or framework. Inside the head of the page it outputs inline style in the form of <style id=”kirki-inline-styles”>….<style>. Upon trying to validate the page with W3 Validator I get CSS: Parse Error with notification to {:desktop;} which is part of the inline style. I am trying to figure out how to fix it but with no success since I am not very good with programming.

I know this is a long shot and the support is solely for the plugin but I thought to give it a try since there might be some connection. Already tried contacting the author of the theme, but either on vacation or his attention is elsewhere.

Thanks in advance for any guides that might help me fix the problem.

    Regards

  • Hi @maddogkujo,

You will need to wait for the theme authors response. It is not possible to resolve this without programming knowledge as you will need to edit theme files.

    Hello Danny

as I said, its a long shot. Thank you for your time.

@maddogkujo have you tried installing kirki as a plug-in? Depending on your theme’s implementation, installing kirki as a plug-in might fix this

    Hi Ari

already tried that thinking that it might fix the issue. Then I did some digging and bug chasing.

I have already located the cause of the problem. Inside the customizer, the author has placed a section with 3 images (and hidden radio buttons) of desktop/tablet/mobile. You click can click each one and you upload the corresponding logo. Upon saving, depending on which image you have clicked last, the following {:desktop;}/{:tablet;}/{:mobile;} appears inside the style inline. My problem (so far) is that I cannot trace what needs to be fixed.

As I said earlier, thank you for your time.

    Regards
    Alexandros
