Help with images/Media Library

    About a month ago you helped somebody with posting Amazon images. I’m having the same problem – the image I want to use doesn’t link to the item on Amazon. In your help you referred to typing in the item’s Title or Author. I have Amazon Link and Amazon Link Extra – Images installed. In the section for Insert Amazon Link I only have a box to insert an ASIN.

    Did I miss something in setup? Please help.

    Hi,

    To use the search facility you need to have registered with the Amazon Advertising API, and got your AWS keys to put into the plugin settings screen.

    Have you done this? Did the keys validate okay?

    Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you. I’ve had various life issues.

    I didn’t have my AWS keys in and validated. Now I have and it hasn’t made any difference. I still don’t get the box to enter Title or Author. Help!

    If the plugin thinks the AWS info is correct (there should be a tick by the AWS Keys Validated setting), then you should be able to do searches.

    The ‘Add Link’ box should look something like the one on the screenshots page:

    For some reason the search boxes weren’t there just before I posted my update – or maybe I didn’t scroll down far enough. Either way, the search boxes are there now and I can select the image for the product I want.
