  • Hello,
I have a website that running wordpress, and I cant lay my finger on how to do that but If you are entering my website (
You can see for yourself that there is a music player that is running for all the time, I mean it is there when you are chaning the page that you are at ( At the menu)
I want to make that function – always on on the whole website.
That means the whole section will be always on the top
and when i am clicking on another page on the menu it is loading it ONLY!
    and not the whole website.
that will spare some time and lost resources.
    Do you understand me?
How can i make this happen?
    Thank for the helpers!
    Daniel .T

  • You would need to use something like an AJAX request – clicking menu items generates an AJAX request to grab the appropriate page and inject the designated portions of it into the existing/requesting page. I’m not aware of an easy way to do this in WordPress. Typically WordPress runs on a request = new page load approach.

There might be themes that incorporate such functionality though. Maybe see if there’s a “single-page” type theme and see how they coded it?
