Help with .htacess how can I redirect all traffic from homepage to subdomain?

  • fixmonster

    @fixmonster

    My current .htaccess is default:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    I want to alter this so that when someone goes to my wordpress site ie:

    domain.com

    They are immediately redirected to:

    domain.com/sub/

    which is a translated page.

    I want all attempts to go to the main page to go to urls below the:

    domain.com/sub/

    instead.

    Thank you for any assistance, this is blowing my mind since I have never done much with .htaccess files before and I am sick of getting Internal Server 500 errors 🙂

    Thanks!

    Mike
