 * I am having difficulty understanding how Games Played works in SportsPress.
 * When I create an event, I choose the teams and then choose the players. I thought
   that by choosing the players, it would automatically count as a “game played”(
   because those I didn’t choose did not play). That didn’t seem to work.
 * So, I realized that I should put “1” in the GP column so that it counts as a
   game played, correct?
    The problem is that if I use the Offense/Defense option,
   I can’t show GP in the defense section if it is in the offense section.
 * I am also unclear as to why there is a GP in Performance tab and GP in the Statistics
   tab (on the Columns section of a player list). Why is it there twice? I am guessing
   the Performance one is where I’m entering the “1” to show it, but what’s the
   point of the GP in statistics? Does it so something different?
 * So, my question is: Am I understanding how GP is supposed to work?
 * Thanks in advance for any guidance!

 * Hi there!
 * We need to add that field because not all players that have been selected in
   a match have to play. For example in soccer you bring 18 players or even more,
   and only 11 of them will actually play, and then will have their stats increased
   by that.
 * As for the offence / defense, we’ve actually corrected this for stats that are
   shared among both, please make sure you are running the latest plugin version
   and this should work for you
 * Kind Regards,

 * Fantastic! Thank you for your response and explanation on why the GP column has
   the option to be 1 or 0.
 * As for the offense/defense issue – I am on the latest version (2.0.6), as far
   as I know (no update notice), but it is still not showing GP for defense.
 * When I look at SportsPress configuration in the Player Performance list, it shows
   GP as being for “All”. If I set that stat to be for Defense, it correctly shows
   up for defense (and only defense). When I set to Offense, it correctly shows
   for offense. But when I set it to All, it only shows up for Offense.
 * Thanks for your help!
