Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Help with fatal error on WP with plugin Woocomerce

  • I was working on my wordpress page ( when suddenly I found that I couldn’t access the page anymore. On the screen it appears:

“Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/polvolul/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/classes/abstracts/abstract-wc-session.php on line 66”

I check the page in question but I didn’t edited it ever.
I can access the wp-admin page and when I click on Deactivate the woocomerce plugin the error disappears. The same thing happens when I delete the woocomerce files of the server.

I tried to update it, delete it and installing it again, all to now use.

THis page won’t work without the woocomerce plugin so I really need it to work as befor.

    I would appreciate some help.

  • I have the same problem. I saw your site is working? Did you find solution?

Hey! Does anyone can help with this? Message on the screen: “Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/r16434/domains/ on line 66”

Well it seems that everything is back to normal. I dind’t do anything. I didn’t touch the site ever since I made the post here. Yesterday when I went to check on it, it was well again. So I don’t really understand what happened.

Ok so I have been working on the website today for a few hours. And sudently the same error apears again. I wasn’t changing the files at the time nor anything. Just exploring.

I tried other browser and it was all normal so I procedded and when I clicked on “logout” the same thing happened again.

    Help please!

It appears that in about 2 days time the error corrects it self, only to appear again from nowhere. Can’t anybody help?

    I have the same problem.
    Have you found a solution?

No, I have not. I waited too long so I changed services. I’m using Magento now and I have done all the work much faster and easily then befor.
People are still discusting this problem in this forum where I also puted the question:

    But so far, no solution.

    Good luck.

I have had this problem too… Interesting enough when trying to import products into a store. What I’ve done to “correct it” is to clear the entire WordPress transient cache in the options table. Clear all transient records relating to WooCommerce.

Delete your cookies and the error should be gone.

I have a stunning problem all yesterday then changing theme version apparently worked fine but this morning again, in backend anything works but when I test in frontend it says sorry seems that this option doesn’t exist while the option is correctly set.
I suppose that something inside plugin is not working properly with WP 3.8
or worst the guys of woocommerce put something to block it after a time if you don’t use their theme or extensions…And I think latter is more probably. They don’t give support unless you pay and people try to find a solution by themselves….
