 * Can you try to add the following in your custom css :
 * img {
    height: auto; }
 * This might actually solve your problem.

 * Glad this issue is solved, in case this line breaks something else in your theme,
   you can use a more precise selector like :
 * .gallery img /or/ .mgl-img
