Help with dashboard

    I want to remove/hide some stuff from the dashboard.

    First thing is that I want to change the posts section. I will have a number of members and all of them will be able to post. I can stop people editing/deleting other peoples posts, but I don’t want them to be able to see anyone elses through the dashboard, only their own. I need to be able to hide the other posts so they can’t view them that way.

    The second thing is, I also want to remove/hide the tools option on the dashboard from my members.

    How can I do this?

    I was trying to insert the html code for a banner ad into either a page or post on my site. I noticed that when I clicked edit to do this that one of the 2 tabs at the top of my page/post that used to say html now says text. How can I switch it back to say html?

    Also how can I install a banner in the body of a page instead of only in pages and posts?

    @gfennell – click the add new button next to the forum subject (for this section it’s next to where it says How-To and Troubleshooting in big bold letters) at the top of the page.

    @sn0zb0z: Given that there isn’t a plugin (that I know of) that would suit your pretty specific needs, you might want to consider posting over in the Hacks forum. If that’s something you’d like to go ahead with, let us know and we’ll close this topic for you.
