Help with Creating Pages in Connections Theme

  • I installed the connections theme and simply love it. I tried to create pages and could not find the page template box that is identified in the codex. I switched back to the default theme and created pages like, Links, about this site, and archives. Loved how they worked when I viewed the site. I switched back to the connections theme and can see the pages listed but they don’t contain the content like the default theme showed them. What do I have to do to get them to work like the default theme?

Also the them has buttons on top with these same page headings and only the Home button works. How do I get them to link to the pages I have set up?

I sent two emails to the author and have not received a response. There is supposed to be a version 1.1 but whenever I download it from her website, it still states that it is only version 1.0.

  • The Default has more Page templates, not only one (or none – as is the case for many themes). If you don’t have more than the default Page template (aka page.php) in a theme, the dropdown menu for selecting templates does NOT show up.
