# Help with creating double sidebars

 * I currently have one sidebar to the right of my content. However, I’d like to
   revise my layout to have two sidebars, one on either side of my content, like
   this:

 * Could someone help? How hard is this to do?

   and has *some* knowledge of website design?

    (BTW, my son also has a computer science
   degree and he is an excellent coder… but a crappy “designer” LOL)

 * The problem is he doesn’t know!!! And not being a computer person, I dont’ understand
   how he can be a computer science major and not know how to do websites. Then 
   again, it all seems to be the same to me. Sigh.

 * That’s how it is: having a computer science degree doesn’t make you a web designer.
   Those are two different animals 🙂
    I don’t know anything about programming, 
   not able to write one line of code in PHP – and still can design themes for WP
   and other CMS.
 * Why not try to find a theme that already has that second sidebar? Look for 3 
   column themes…

 * Would it be easy enough to transfer my current banner to the new theme I choose?(
   Sorry if all of my questions seem really dumb, but my husband did most of the
   work…under my creative direction of course. :))

 * Basically, yes. I mean if you find a theme that has either its own header image
   or there is room for it (or, worst case scenario: you make room for it by modifying
   the dimensions of the header area) – you can just add/replace your image.
 * Of course, since different themes might have different width, it may be necessary
   to alter, modify the existing image.
