    Hi,

I created two categories and two forums under each category

    Category A: (ID: 26)
    Forum AA (ID: 1)
    Forum BB (ID: 2)

    Category B: (ID: 27)
    Forum CC (ID: 3)
    Forum DD (ID: 4)

On my page, I created a text block and added the shortcode [forum], which work as it brought the entire forum over. Then I tried to filter just on category B, so I entered the shortcode [forum category=”27″] and the forum still shows the entire forum.

Any thoughts of what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance,
    Katie

    Hello @katiebaby84

Please ensure that your shortcode looks exactly like this: [forum category="27"]. If you use quotation marks other than it will not work (your example above uses and ).

If this is not working as well: Try to disable caching plugins for the page which contains your forum-shortcode.

    Hi,

    Still no luck 🙁

I cleared the cache on the page, and nothing.
I uninstalled the plugin and re-installed it and the same issue. The only thing is that the category IDs increase to 32 and 33. Is there anything I would need to remove when re-installing the plugin?

No, this should be all fine.

Have you tried to disable other plugins for testing purposes to figure out if its an incompatibility?
