Help with building a site – Cycling club

As the title says, I am looking to build a website for cycling club. I was considering to make it in wordpress, and I want it to look better then current site: – http://sloga-1902-idrija.si/

Do you have any suggestions at what themes should I look at… I have very basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and non of Java, etc… So I think I can’t build a theme on my own… What are you suggestions, at what themes should I look like.
