# Help with Admin

 * I have admins and editors. Admins can work with whole site – admin part as it
   is, and editors are limited only to posting (news, articles, etc.), upload files
   and so on. So for editors I’d like to have editor’s part limited to certain functions.
 * What would be the best solution here? I couldn’t find any useful plugins for 
   that (only post moderation), so my idea is to copy admin part for editors into
   separate location and take out all the functions that they don’t need. But in
   that case if editor knows URL of admin part he could still enter with his login…
   Any better ideas how to implement?

 * Is it only working with WP 2.0? I found only v1.1 download and everywhere it 
   says that its designed to work with WP 2.0 only… May be there is v1.0 to work
   with WP 1.5.x? 🙂

 * Hmm. There were no “editors” in WP 1.5.x – only numeric user levels: 1 to 10.

 * Thats what was the problem 🙂 I was looking for solution in my WP 1.5.x. So, 
   as I understand the best solution for me is to upgrade to WP 2.0?
 * Didn’t want to do it early, but… Any pros and cons?

 * Well, only you can decide what the best solution is for you.
    WP 2.0 has a new
   Roles and Capabilities system… [http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities](http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities)
   and obviously some bugs 🙂 You may want to wait for a while with upgrade – or,
   if you are brave enough, go for it.
