• Hi to everyone, hope you are well!

    introduction
As I’m not into business and have just a personal space, as I asked help to the theme developer but the fix can take very long time: no guaranty will be fixed because the issue is present on “my” theme configuration I’m looking for help on Internet.

Maybe some one can share some suggestions for fix with a CSS code or something else the issue. In my website i have the following issue: [Menu] right clicking a parent menu item breaks sub-menu items auto-collapse

    description
When website menu with sub-menu are dragged or right clicked the sub menu never hide when mouse get out.
You can see a GitHub issue with GIF animation here:
    https://github.com/presscustomizr/customizr/issues/1852

I’m waiting since more than two months a solution but for now nothing.

Do you have some suggestion to resolve the issue?
Maybe with browser developers tool some passionate can have a small tips.

I hope to be not wrong posting here, I’m trying also on stackoverflow where i get a down vote and no response.

Still hope to find help for a fix.
    Thank you!

    I’m using Customizr free theme.
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/issue-if-the-menu-is-right-clicked/

As the theme is free developer cannot grant a solution, they will work when can and with no guaranty. I was not able to reproduce this in the theme website demo of Customizr so is something related to my theme configuration but seems a bug an issue somewhere. Any suggestion to fix this issue?

    Thank you.

  • Unfortunately, you are using a premium theme. Therefore, you will need to contact the developers of your theme, you can do so on their website: https://presscustomizr.com/support/

@binarywc I’m not using a premium theme as I wrote in my message πŸ˜‰

According to the footer of your website your theme was developed by the company I lined you to in my last message. If you are using the free version of the theme then you can contact the theme developer and their support community here: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/customizr. You will get the best support from the developer and their development community. I have went ahead and update the tags so that the developer or someone who is familiar with the theme you are using might see this thread but I’d suggest posting in the support forum I linked to here in this post to get the fastest support.

@binarywc thank you for your reply and time but i disagree with your replies and this is not helping me just confusing the discussion, on my opinion.

    1. The theme I’m using is not a premium theme or I will have a premium support and don’t need to post here.
    2. I have already posted the link with support request to the developer of the theme and this is not helping, it’s all described in my topic

Two replies that doesn’t help and give, on my opinion, just bad information that seems resolve or reply the topic when is not.

Sorry but is like I did not get any answer so hope maybe someone can give info more useful for try to resolve this issue that the developer is not having time to looking for.

    Have a nice day πŸ™‚

There are hundreds of themes available for wordpress that are free. If the developer can not help you I would suggest looking for a different theme. Unfortunately, the forum you have posted in here is for support with core wordpress code not themes or plugins. Posting in the themes/plugins support area gets you the best support with that theme or plugin. If that themes developer can not grant you an solution then you should probably not use their product/code as in my experience (15 years with WordPress) the problem you described is an issue with how the theme is coded, not core WP code.

@binarywc the latest reply can have more sense but it’s easy maybe for other say “change theme”. Is not so easy for me as you have no idea how much work I take to find a theme that can be fit on my website.

Also if I was a theme exert at this time probably I have already found and fixed the issue.

I agree with you: if a theme or a plugin has no support is better to change but in this case I have just to wait as the bug has been open. I’m looking for help on the Internet for see if I can get help fixing this.

If you can’t give help here don’t need to post I’m using a premium theme or post to ask to the theme developer and give the links when I have already done this in my discussion.

I’m sorry if this is a forum for WP core, I read to have posted in “Everything else WordPress” so hope this is a space for everything else, more general that other forum topics.

Hope maybe to get some useful reply from someone else.
Anyway thanks again for your time and efforts.

Trust me.. I have an idea how much work changing themes is…. Again, I have 15 years of experience with WordPress.I’ve developed over 100 wordpress sites, so I definitely know how much work changing the theme is. As I said a few minutes ago you are unfortunately left with few options other than to switch themes because the theme developer is either unable or unwilling to fix their own code and this is not a problem with WordPress core code that you described. I will leave it at that. No need to reply to me again.

@binarywc I have not your experience but I love Internet and I’m passionate of that.

I have also experience in other web things and thanks to the internet and forum I resolved sometimes issue so this is why this topic so I still hope to find a solution different from what suggested by you (change theme) because i currently can’t do.

All this replies are not helping me as is something already I know or something not fully correct about the situation I’m reporting.

Thanks again for your effort, stay safe and have a nice day and week.

I would suggest you look at this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/before-posting-in-everything-wordpress/

It explains what the “Everything else WordPress” forum is for, and it is pretty clear to me that you are looking for support with a theme which the developer for whatever reason is not willing to support. That is not a topic for this thread. I wish you the best of luck.
