I am Hilary and I am a Peace Corps Volunteer currently serving in Guinea, West Africa working to develop the country’s ecotourism sector. Myself and a local association of tour guides recently created a website, painstakingly updating and uploading content and beautiful photos with incredibly slow bandwidth and one single internet stick. It’s one of the first legitimate websites created within the whole country!
About two weeks ago we found our website (www.aldetguinee.com) had been hacked by Scandinavian Pirates (who actually might be hacking from Malaysia). I’ve tried contacting WordPress, our hosting software, multiple times but have yet to hear back.
I’m sorry but it’s very difficult for me to navigate what we should do to reclaim our site and content! If anyone could please assist me/us with what we need to do, Guinea would be eternally grateful!
