    HELP! My website is gone! I own and i was trying to get rid of my feed icon so i came here and saw a section where someone said “Put this in your functions.php

    Now my entire website is gone! It just goes to a blank screen. Even when i try to enter my /Wp-admin to edit the website it just goes to a blank screen and not the dashboard! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

    Try switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Whenever I do anything now,,,, everything goes straight to a blank white page.

    open your FTP account and rename your folders in wp-content/themes directory to oldname-xxx or you can rename your current theme only. and then reopen your admin dashboard, uninstall your theme and reinstall it again. Be careful if you made changes to your theme, all changes will be gone. It preferable to copy the changes you made (if you still remember them).

    PS: sometimes the changes you make for the theme can probably trigger this kind of errors.

    And don’t forget to remove the added code. you can do this by accessing the file from the FTP
