# Website disappeared

 * Hi,
 * I´m a Community Manager for a website so just did content uploading….there is
   no one taking care of the techy stuff. I noticed that our URL [http://www.elenaduran.com](http://www.elenaduran.com)
   was not taking us to the website, just a blank page. I tried changing themes 
   as I read on this forum and still the same problem. Then I tried adding ‘www.’
   to the WordPress address and Site Address in the Settings, saved it, and I couldn’t
   see the website anymore online….I reset cookies, still not there, I changed the
   addresses back in Settings to what they originally were and still nothing….what
   can I do??? I´m a total novice at this but I need to sort it out myself. I’ve
   tried about FTPs and changing some file somewhere but I´m totally lost 🙁
 * Is there any way I can just delete the whole site and start again? Thanks so 
   much.

 * Oh, it says that I´ve been redirected too many times when you visit the website(
   well, the pages that I used to visit it which is [http://elenaduran.com/about-elena/](http://elenaduran.com/about-elena/),
   because [http://www.elenaduran.com](http://www.elenaduran.com) never worked….

 * This is a common problem for beginners. You changed your url incorettly. Check
   this: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/help-cant-login-changed-url-on-accident/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/help-cant-login-changed-url-on-accident/)
 * The original problem was caused by outdated plugins. Change names of plugin folder
   or do it one by one to see which plugin causes the problem. You need an FTP access.

 * My hosting is provided by GoDaddy…are they the ones I should contact for FTP 
   details?

 * Ok I´ve logged into Go Daddy, found the database, the URLs there are fine [http://elenaduran.com](http://elenaduran.com)
   for both, logged out….now getting a different error message when I try and get
   into the site saying that there is an error establishing a database connection???
   And now can’t get into the backend…. ARGHHH!!!

 * If I delete the one database on GoDaddy will I be able to start again from fresh
   and rebuild the website?
