  • You have to change type="search" to:
    type="text"

    And in your del.icio.us link, you have to replace alt="My del.icio.us links library" with:
    title="My del.icio.us links library"

    Thanks techwench, I was trying to resist a tongue-in-cheek response…

    value of attribute “type” cannot be “search”; must be one of “text”, “password”, “checkbox”, “radio”, “submit”, “reset”, “file”, “hidden”, “image”, “button”

    What can I say…I’m in a good mood today. 😉

    Hey thanks… a little digging and I’m on track. Almost.

    Any ideas about the new “autocomplete” problem?

    Yeah, there is no attribute “autocomplete” in XHTML

    You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not support that attribute for this element

    Wow, thanks. I guess hanging out here can make one a little testy. 😉

    So I delete autocomplete, I assume.

    Not testy at all, just having fun with copy/paste – don’t usually get threads where the original post contains questions all the answers to which are provided by the link also posted. 😉

    It is an “asked and answered” thread with just one post – kewl.

    Fair enough and thanks!
