The person who developed our site seems to have used your plugin.
Seeing that the version is 1.5 I imagine this was an early form
of what you have now. The name in the plugins area does not say
Easy Updates Manager it says: Disable All Updates
then has this info: Version 1.5 | By Websiteguy | Visit plugin site
The visit plugin site leads me to Easy Updates Manager.
I am trying to unravel and figure out what this is being used for or
how it is affecting the site. I do not see it on the dashboard with
any panel of controls etc. Not sure if it should be deleted or updated?
Any help here from whomever might know about this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Wow! Version 1.5 is at least 3 years old. Probably more like 4 years old. Back then this plugin wasn’t an update manager. It didn’t have all the settings. In fact I don’t even think I added the settings page in until version 2.0.0.

Easy Updates Manager is just a much newer version of Disable All Updates. This plugin has had it’s far share of name changes over the years.

Stop Core Theme and Plugin Updates > Disable All Updates > Disable All Updates Manager > Disable Updates Manager > Easy Updates Manager

If the plugin is working it should be disabling all the updates on your website. Although since it is a 4 year old version it could very well not be working.

I would delete it to start. Then if you need a plugin to manage updates (log, automatically update, disable, etc.) then I would install the most recent version of Easy Updates Manager.
