First, you need to install and activate Jetpack, then enable its Subscription module.

Then, you can transfer your subscribers following this guide: http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/

I have just done this according to your guide. I will be waiting a day more to see the result. What could not pop up as I followed the guidelines is “the subscribers are on quene” as stated in the guidelines but it asked me a question whether I want to transfer the subscribers to arrested with love which I clicked ok.

Secondly, after mapping my wordpress.com to my new wordpress.org, the result of my website search in google search engine always result to 404 error the page is not found just as in this link below: http://arrestedwithlove.com/author/klinzek/page/2/

    Thanks for your assistance

Is your username the same on your new blog? If not, the old author permalink won’t work.

not the same, how could I change it to be the same?

To change your username on your self-hosted blog, you will need to create a new user with the correct username, then delete the old user, and when prompted transfer all posts/pages from the old user to the new user.

Thanks MacManx, you have been helpful through your guidelines so far. As you suggested, I have created a new username as in my old wordpress.com and the good news is that, it is connected and working now.

The problem I am presently having now is inability of deleting the old username. When I logged in with the new username, I will have a very limited menus which will enable me customize the site including “user” where i may be able to delete the old username from. When I logged in with the old username, I will have access to all the required site plugins, menus and options including the ‘user’ from which i can delete any of the username but cannot be able to delete the account as it will return “You cannot delete an active account” what will I do?

    Thanks

Log back in as the old username and promote the new username to Administrator via the Users section of the Dashboard. Then you can log in under the new username and delete the old one. 🙂
