# Help – Thumbnails and Directory Structure

 * This plug-in looks like it will do exactly what I’ve been looking for. After 
   many hours of trying, I still cannot make this work. Could you give an example
   of how to name the thumbnails and where to locate them?

    THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF MY FILE AND DIRECTORY STRUCTURE:
 * Full Size Image location:
    [http://www.mysite.com/myimages/](http://www.mysite.com/myimages/)
 * Full Size Image Names:
    myimage01.jpg myimage02.jpg
 * Thumbnail Image location:
    [http://www.mysite.com/myimages/150×150/](http://www.mysite.com/myimages/150×150/)
 * Thumbnail Image Names:
    myimage01-150×150.jpg myimage02-150×150.jpg —————————————————-
 * THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF MY WORDPRESS SHORTCODE:
    [gallerylink set=’slideshow’ type
   =’dir’ topurl=’/myimages’]
 * Please let me know what I might be doing wrong. I really want to use this plug-
   in.

 * Looking at this some more, I think I misunderstood the location of the thumbnails.
   It looks like the thumbnails need to be in the same directory as the full size
   images and simply have the thumbnail suffix (defined in the plug-in settings)
   appended to the name. So, in my example above, I think the files should be located
   and named as shown below. I still must be doing something wrong because it still
   does not work.
 * Directory for all images (including thumbnails):
    [http://www.mysite.com/myimages/](http://www.mysite.com/myimages/)
 * Full Size Image Names:
    myimage01.jpg myimage02.jpg
 * Thumbnail Image Names:
    myimage01-150×150.jpg myimage02-150×150.jpg
 * Even with these changes, the following short code does not work:

   set=’slideshow’ type=’dir’ topurl=’/myimages’]

    Case by Slideshow, it does not show thumbnail. Do you not also 
   displays the full-size image?

 * Hello Katsushi,
    Thank you for your reply. I’ve tried both album and slideshow
   and no images show at all, but I do see the GalleryLink controls if set visible.
   I also can see images when using “media” instead of “dir”.
