Commercial theme question

Hello,
I am using the Metz theme and whenever I choose a featured image for my blog post I get weird coding on my picture that is visible to the readers. It looks very bad and tacky. How do I remove this coding on all of my post’s featured images. Here is my website, website, you can see how bad it looks.
