    Help text does not show on read only fields, because such fields are not editable. Maybe it should be a preference to do it differently.

    You can change the layout of the help field using CSS. Set the help field block to display “block” and it will appear on the next line.

    I’m not sure that it’s correct logic. For example I will show some non-editable fields with my values to users and this fields requires some descriptions.

    I made that decision long ago, so maybe I need to reconsider. I don’t always get it right the first time and your point is a good one.

    Meanwhile, you can show those messages by altering the plugin file classes/PDb_Field_Item.class.php on line 308.
