# [Help] Tag Permalinks

 * Hi everyone.
 * I want to create custom tag permalink.
    Usually wordpress tag url would be like
   this [http://www.mysite.com/tag/example-tag/](http://www.mysite.com/tag/example-tag/)
   and now i want to make it like this [http://www.mysite.com/example-tag](http://www.mysite.com/example-tag)
   or [http://www.mysite.com/custom-name/example-tag](http://www.mysite.com/custom-name/example-tag).
 * How can I do that?

 * You can create the second type of tag permalink by setting the tag base in Admin/
   Settings/Permamlinks.
