[Resolved] HELP! Subscribers Not Receiving Email Notifications

    My subscribers are not receiveing email notifications when I post a new blog entry. When users subscribes to my blog, they receive the initial email and the follow-up confirmation email. However, when I post a new blog entry, they receive nothing.

    My site: Must Have Boxes
    Jetpack version: 2.1.1

    Please help! I have tons of subscribers who are currently in the dark. Thank you.

    Could you send me a few of the email addresses that didn’t receive any notification email for your latest post, so I can investigate further?

    Could you also let me know how you published this post? Do you publish via the dashboard, or through a third-party application?

    Hi Jeremy,

    Thanks for the quick response. I submitted the support form to you and included three sample email addresses that did not receive an email notification for my new blog entry.

    I published this post through the WordPress dashboard.

    UPDATE: This issue is still happening. All of my subscribers are not receiving e-mail notifications when a new blog post is made.

    Jetpack responded by saying:
    “While I can’t give a time frame, we’ll be sure to reply back when we have an update.”

    Has any progress been made? Is there anything I can do to fix this? My readership is suffering because of my subscribers aren’t receiving their notifications.

    I’m having similar issue. Subscribers are not getting email notifications of my new posts. They are not getting either an initial welcome email or follow-up email asking them to confirm their subscription. Some subscribers on my list are showing in red print (versus black). What does that mean? I am also not getting email notifications of new subscribers any more. (www.myislandbistrokitchen.com)

    @islandbistro You do not seem to be using Jetpack on your site, so you might want to check in the Plugins menu in your dashboard to find the name of the plugin you used for subscriptions. You can then get in touch with the plugin author to report the issue.

    Hi Jeremy,

    I wanted to let you know that I just posted a new blog entry and my subscribers did receive an email notification. Out of the last four blog entries I’ve posted, email notifications only went out for two of them. I’m not sure why the inconsistency exists as I have changed nothing in the back-end, but I will keep you updated.

    Hello Jeremy,

    I too have have confronted issues regarding subscribers: 1) receiving initial notification after hitting subscribe button and 2) receiving notifications of new posts (assuming they were able to subscribe…) Is there something I can do on this end? Or how do I resolve this issue?

    You can also contact us via this contact form, and give us a few examples of the email addresses that didn’t receive any email notification.
