Help, strange tests in order
-
Hello, how do I remove this text from my orders? This text has been appearing on my invoices, delivery notes, and incoming orders for some time. Why is this happening, and how do I get rid of it?
The customer ordered a cover, not a motorcycle sticker.
The only thing that’s correct is “In the color: 02 Light Gray.” Everything else is incorrect.

Hi @dieklebefee,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the WooCommerce support forum!
I understand you’re seeing some confusing and incorrect order details, like the product name and some metadata appearing on your invoices, delivery notes, and even incoming orders, despite the customer ordering something entirely different. That definitely sounds unexpected, and I can see why you’d want to get to the bottom of it quickly.
To help us better understand what’s going on and where this strange data might be coming from, could you please clarify the following:
- Are you using any plugins to generate invoices and delivery notes (like “WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips”)?
- Have you customized the order emails, product metadata, or used any custom code recently?
- Is this happening with multiple products or only specific ones like the cover mentioned?
It would also be super helpful if you could share a screenshot of:
- The affected order details as seen in WooCommerce → Orders.
- The email notification you received for this order.
- The invoice for the affected order
This will help us pinpoint whether the issue lies with the product data, order metadata, or an output template from another plugin.
Looking forward to your reply so we can sort this out together!
Hello,
Are you using any plugins to generate invoices and delivery notes (like “WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips”)? No, I use MarketPress.
Have you customized the order emails, product metadata, or used any custom code recently?
I entered a code I received from MarketPress into snippets. But it didn’t work, so I deleted it.
Is this happening with multiple products or only specific ones like the cover mentioned?
Yes, for all products.
How can I share pictures here?
Hello dieklebefee,
Thank you for your reply.
I’d like to take a closer look at how WooCommerce is configured on your site. Could you please share your System Status Report with me? You can copy the full report, paste it into https://pastebin.com, and then share the link here.
This will help me understand your setup and identify any plugins or settings that might be affecting WooCommerce’s functionality.
Looking forward to your response. 🙂
Hallo, I hope it is correct.
Hi @dieklebefee ,
Thanks so much for sharing the SSR!
It looks like the page is password protected, so I wasn’t able to view it on my end: https://prnt.sc/p_18xQAeml2.
Would you mind sharing the password here? That way, I can take a closer look and help out further.
Hallo, I hope it is correct.
Hi there!
Thank you for sharing the system status report.
I’ve reviewed it and noticed that you’re using the German Market plugin by MarketPress. This plugin includes features for generating invoices and customizing emails, so I suspect it might be causing the issue you’re experiencing.
For testing purposes, could you please temporarily deactivate the plugin, place a test order, and check if the issue still occurs?
Also, I noticed your WooCommerce database may not be fully up to date. Please go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and click the “Update Database” button if it’s available. Keeping the database updated helps avoid unexpected behavior and ensures compatibility with your plugins.
If the issue is resolved after deactivating the plugin, I recommend reaching out to the German Market support team for further assistance.
Let me know how it goes!
Hello, I did everything as you described. I get the errors with MarketPress, but everything works fine without it. I’ve contacted MarketPress support and am waiting for a response. I updated the database beforehand. Best regards, Martina
Hello, unfortunately, my joy was short-lived. I’ve just placed another test order, and the error has returned. MarketPress is still deactivated.I don’t know what to do next.
Hi @dieklebefee,
Thank you for the update and for providing further clarification. I’m sorry to hear the issue has returned even after disabling the MarketPress plugin—I understand how frustrating that must be.
After reviewing your system status report again, I noticed several plugins from Von, such as B2B Market, B2B Market WPAI Addon, and the German Market plugin. These could be influencing critical features like ordering, order processing, and email notifications.
To help isolate the root cause, I recommend creating a staging site by duplicating your live site or setting it up on a subdomain. Once that’s done, please deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and switch your theme to Storefront. Then, create a new test order manually.
Once completed, please share:
- The system status report from the staging site
- The order details of the test order
- A copy of the email received after creating the order
Looking forward to your response so we can investigate further.
Hello,
I first deactivated MarketPress on the staging site and placed a test order. But I’m getting the same errors as before. Then I deactivated B2B and placed a test order, but I can’t even access my order overview anymore. After that, I deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce. I can place an order, but I only get to the order overview, and then nothing else is displayed.
Hi there,
Thank you for sharing more details about the issue.
I can see that the Thank You page template is being overridden by your theme, specifically in the file
flatsome/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou.php. To help isolate whether the issue is caused by the custom theme, could you please try the following:- Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Storefront.
- Place a test order to check if the issue still occurs on the Thank You page.
If the problem persists even with Storefront active, please keep the Storefront theme enabled, and let us know so we can continue investigating further.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Hello, here’s the new report. The problem still exists.
But at least I was able to place an order.Hello, I noticed that everything worked until April 22, 2025. On April 23, 2025, there was an update to WooCommerce, and these errors started occurring.
