Which plugin is that – none comes up with that name.
sorry, mistyped. It is Wysija Newsletters
Can you use FTP access and delete that plugin entirely? You might also try changing the name of the plug-in folder (temporarily) — sometimes deactivating them does not turn them off entirely.
I did so: no effect.
The page source is like this:
and then it stops.

switching to another theme solves it. Must be in the theme I am using. Shall I try to update it to a higher version?
You should definitely be using the most recent version of your theme — many needed changes to be compatible with WP3.5. What theme is it and does it say it’s compatible to 3.5?
I did upgrade, but no effect. It seems nt to work with responsive themes.
I use the executive theme on the genesis framework
It’s still possible that that plugin is not compatible with your theme. But you’d need to go to studiopress for help with that — as commercial themes aren’t supported here.
Ok, I connected to them. But the problem also exists with the twentytwelve theme, not with the twenty eleven theme SO I don’t think it is caused by Genesis themes…..
I noticed that the admin bar has disappeared too. I need to go the the url/wp-admin to be able to access the admin pages. The black admin bar you get when logged in has gone too
Is this when you are using the default WordPress theme?
I re-installed 3.5 and now it works again….
Very very strange. I really didn’t change anything…..
If you can no longer login, try one of the alternative methods here:

Hopefully defaulting to twentyeleven (deactivate the other themes by changing their folder names) will let you in.
Is the problem firmly narrowed down to that plugin on twentytwelve and the Genesis theme?
EDIT – cross posted… well, that’s great! Sometimes there are mysterious gremlins :). Hopefully, you’ve chased yours out.
thanks for thinking with me WPyogi and esmi!
