Help Restore My Site

    My site was hacked or something. I had several viruses on all of my accounts and I’ve been able to get them all back except 1.

    This is running version 2.9.2.

    How can I get this back to working without losing all my data and customizations.

    Here is the site:

    For some reason it just goes to a blank screen. Even the wp-admin goes to a blank screen.

    Can anyone help?

    In your webhost backend (Cpanel?) export your mysql database.
    Then copy your theme to your computer via ftp.

    You must then go through every line of your theme looking for hacked code.

    Now, wipe every file on your webhost, then re-install WordPress. It is important that your wipe everything and dont just override.

    Ok, sounds like a lot of fun. I had my hosting company clean all the viruses.

    PS, it always helps to keep WordPress updated to the latest version.
