    Hello!

Today we noticed that our product titles seem to change to “Svea checkout” after someone has purchased that specific product. Any idea what can be causing this and how I can fix it? I can change the titles back but I should’t have to deal with this problem at all.

    Best regards
    Isabella

    Hi @isabella92

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Hi @isabella92,

I have noticed the same issue on our site today which is running the latest WordPress and plug-ins. Purchased products take on the title of our checkout which in our case is checkout.

I have updated a few plugins over the past few days and am trying to go through things now to see if I can narrow down what might be causing the issue.

    Steve.

This is happening to us as well. Except our titles are just changing to ‘Checkout’ and it also removes the Product Short Description. What is going on?

Hi @stepfaul @isabella92 @amandasjackson Please let me know if you find anything.
I’ve disabled our non-essential plugins (extra gateways, etc) but cannot disable essential parts of the checkout experience (especially on black friday). We get this ‘Checkout’ title change issue every couple of hours and this started this morning – don’t believe we’ve updated any plugins except WooCommerce this morning…

Probably one of the worst days to have this happen, but if anyone is able to narrow it down please let us know!

This is happening on my site too – seems like an issue with the latest woo update! please fix ASAP

I’m rolling back my site to before the update and reimporting all the orders – an absolute pain – but the only plugin I updated this morning was woo, so can’t imagine it would have come through anything else.

@lydiarose I rolled back Woocommerce to 3.8.0 from (3.8.1) and it’s still giving me the issue. Super frustrating

One other thing i noticed is that this only happens to Simple Products and not Variable Products

ME too! Super frustrating on busiest weekend of the year. I can’t narrow it down to anything but Woocommerce… can’t turn off while shoppers online and LOTS of money spent on advertising.

I rolled back to WC 3.8.0 as well but still got the same issue.

What is frustrating is that I updated two plugins today – one of which I have disabled but still seeing the issue with it disabled. Just got to try and find the other one now as I can’t remember which one it was!

@richak – are you running any other woo plugins, that we might have in common?
The ones I have updated recently are:

    Enhanced E-commerce for Woocommerce store
    TI WooCommerce Wishlist Plugin
    YITH WooCommerce Waiting List
    Yoast SEO

The rest haven’t updated in a while.

    Thanks
    Lydia

@lydiarose Hey lydia! the plugin we share in common is the enhanced e-commerce for Woocommerce store. I’m going to disable it and see how it goes.

anybody else have this plugin in common? @stepfaul @nickycc @isabella92

    @richak

I’ve rolled back on my staging and reimported all the orders, but obviously all the stock needs adjusting. urgh.

Going to deactivate the enhanced eCommerce and push to live then run a couple of test transactions.

    urgh. Why on Black Friday?

I do – and that plugin was updated 14 hours ago according to the change log:

    2.2.2 – 29/11/2019

    Compatibility with WooCommerce 3.8.0
    Compatibility with WordPress 5.3
    Minor Bug Fixes
Added 14 Days Free Trial of Actionable Google Analytics Plugin

Yes i think that was one I updated too – enhanced e-commerce for Woocommerce store?
