I have one particular post that won’t update. I just have some simple text additions — which show up in the editor after I hit “update” but don’t show up in the browser. * I’ve exhausted all the obvious stuff, clearing the cache, deactivating all the plugins etc… * The crazy thing is it’s only on this one post, I can update all my other posts and pages fine, and if I copy the code to a new post it works… But I want to keep the permalink so I really want to figure out why this post isn’t working. * Any ideas? * post link: [http://www.pinerose.com/wordpress/reservation-policies/](http://www.pinerose.com/wordpress/reservation-policies/) * Thanks. Then you can get the exact same permalink again. I thought once you used it it was a big pain to delete it from the database. But as soon as I changed the permalink back to the original the edits were gone! But they still show up in the editor. * Rrrrg! What is the deal? Preview and publish are different. * Make a post. Publish it. * See what your permalink is. * Delete post. Then created a new post with the exact same name, but before pasting in the code, I published it blank — and the old page still shows up with all the content. * So that means it’s a cache issue then right? How that would happen, I dont know. * But try running something like that plugin. Which is why I never use it.
