I also have this problem with the OnePlus theme. Express Checkout button has disappeared and been replaced by “Go to Checkout” button.
We’re digging deeper. We’ll get it resolved ASAP!

1.4.1 update has made NO DIFFERENCE to the missing PayPal Express button.

I am using the Mystile free theme from WooCommerce, if that helps?
Also – yes 1.4.1 update made no difference
If it helps. I have the same problem using the the Customizer.
I can confirm that version 1.4.2 does not cure my problem.
Unfortunately, we are simply unable to reproduce this problem. The EC buttons are showing up on our test sites as expected. We do see multiple reports of this, though, so we agree something must be wrong, but it’s proving very difficult to troubleshoot since we cannot reproduce it.
If anybody could allow us direct access to their site so we can troubleshoot there it would be helpful. If you can do this please submit a ticket here and provide temporary login credentials for your site.
We believe we have found the issue! We’re making necessary adjustments and will have the 1.4.2 update released very soon!
1.4.2 has cured my problem, except it has done weird things to the Express Checkout button on the product page.
