• I changed some code inside my blog’s Control Panel, went to look at the changes, and got this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘)’ in /home7/todaysar/public_html/wp-content/themes/takteek01/controlpanel.php on line 14

    Now I’m totally locked out.

    What should I do?

  • I’m having the same issue..did you resolve this?

GGA!!!! This has happened to me 3 times now! I wish there was a “preview” function like there is in blogger so one tiny little symbol wouldn’t lock you out of your website for hours. Each time I’ve finally had to uninstall wordpress and re-install it and wait for hours for it to come up and then start from scratch. If there is a better solution please let me know!!!!!

Right now, you can log to your ftp, download the themes, edit it in your computer, then upload it again.

btw, if you want to develop your own themes, then please do it in local server or somewhere you access your file easily.
