Hi all, I’ve been on WP for about a year, slowing grooming my theme.

I have a problem with the “Next Page”/”Previous Page” links that show up in the index page.

I’ve tweaked the index.php and some other .php files so I could get rounded corners. I’m not sure if that’s the cause, this may just be a case of not so great CSS as well.

I know that part of the problem is that the “Next Page” doesn’t get placed in any tag at all. -I’ve looked at the .php, and there’s a navigate section that get’s called out, but it’s not coming up in the page. I can’t really find the piece of .php that creates the defaulting “Next Page” link, either.

Please feel free to take a look at my site:

I’m not sure how to open up the directory for browsing, so let me know if anyone would like to see any code. Including the theme!

IMHO it’s an ambitious theme, if not slightly cursed.
    Thanks for your time.

  • I don’t know if this helps, but as far as I can figure out, the function posts_nav_link is in template-functions-links.php. That function calls function next_posts_link, in the same php file, and that’s the function that actually formats and outputs the link.

    napunom,
you talk a lot in your post, just forgot to mention what exactly is your question 🙂

The prev/next links are there just become black when “visited” so you don’t see them anymore.
