Help needed with my domain and Googling…

    Hello and apologies in advance for my newbie vernacular. So….after much struggle, many swear words, storming away from the computer to find solace in a cold beer, my site is operational. YEAH!!!! Now it’s time to make it Google-attractive and I’m working on that, having done the Google add url and FTP’d the webmaster tools html.

    So now when I Google my site it offers off the top, in the number 1 position: http://kevanslens.wordpress.com/ How do I get rid or silence that domain? It appears to be the initial template. Further down in Google’s listing is the correct site, but there the listing is referencing wordpress and sidewinder. My dashboard leaves me no options (I don’t think) to silence this particular domain? My url is kevanslens.com

    Hey, could it be residing in Base which is needed in concert with using Sidewinder? (This just now came to me.) Will filling themes cause me untold hardship?

    I can say for all certainty kevanslens.com is, don’t know where the addition of “.wordpress” came from. Can’t find any such reference with my host, nor my domain registrar. I am a newb, and the start was a bit rough for me.

    In that case, someone else has set up kevanslens.wordpress.com on wordpress.com and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.

    Yeah, that someone would be me. I think this issue can be closed. I had initially started building my site using wordpress.com not .org. I started building using the .org leaving the .com still out there. I’m waiting for the delete action to take place.
