Help in deleting a complete site & start again

    Hi Guys

    Need help I have just started a new WordPress site. Configured it & installed. It is totally wrong I would like to delete it & start all over again with the same domain name right from scratch..

    Not sure how to do this

    Please advise

    No I just got the heading all wrong I have tried to deletete all
    the wordpress from my c/panel
    but I keep getting an error message saying only 1 allowed in my root directory .

    Now I’m stumped

    I could delete my domain name from my host & then
    recreate my accounr there?

    If you have deleted all files and folders there may be that you still have .htaccess file which is hidden.

    Using ftp delete .htaccess file and then try installing

    I just found the database in my SQL Databases in my
    cpanel so will try that as well.

    Hi Gov

    Couldn’t find the
    “Using ftp delete .htaccess file and then try installing”

    Still no go so will delete the account
    & start again also reeboot computer
    who knows maybe a glitch.

    It was a new domain name anyway

    You may not have a .htaccess file.

    Thanks for reply

    I have decided to delete my account at my host.
    Get rid of the Temp Cookies
    Re boot the computer

    Get a cup of tea.

    Start up & re install the
    domain.

    If that fails

    I ll go off & play golf & take out my frustrations
    on that little white ball
