Help identifying location of menu styling

    Hi.

    I am wondering if anyone can help.

    I am in the process of sorting out some accessibility issues with one of our websites. However, I can’t seem to find the location of the styling for 2 items.

    These items are the left-hand menu, with the pale green background with the grey writing, and then the bar at the top which includes “Follow us”, “Staff” etc.

    I have tried using the element inspection tool within Edge, but again, it couldn’t find the styling information I needed.

    Unfortunately, I didn’t design and build this website, it was created prior to our organisations merging and the gentlemen who originally created has now left our organisation.

    Any help will be very much appreciated.

    The CSS for those is being written inline. In the source there is:

    /** Custom CSS should be added to Mega Menu > Menu Themes > Custom Styling **/

    So look for that in the admin.

    Can I just ask, how did you identify this? I have a couple of other things that I can’t find the location on.

    Using the inspector (I use Firefox mainly) you can see that the style is in inline.css meaning it’s not an external style sheet. View the page source (ctrl + u windows) and search for mega-menu-wrap-about-menu #mega-menu-about-menu.mega-menu-vertical > li.mega-menu-item > a.mega-menu-link and you’ll find it in that big block of inline css. Scroll to the top of the block and you’ll see the developers note I pasted above.
