Help ! I updated my fusion theme

    I didnt realise what I was doing and just hit update ..to my fusion theme..as well as wp 3.04. It has now has completely changed the apprearance of my blog, colours, pictures, videos and links are gone!

    Help..My blog is very important for my website..Does anyone know how to undo a theme update. I dont have anything of my blog stuff backed up, so I don’t want to start over and lose all the content I have been building up over the years.. Any help would be appreciated.

    you may be able to roll back your files to before the update. Godaddy lets you do this yourself from a history tab on file manager.

    Im sure other hosts do too. Or you can talk to the hsot if not.

    Are the pics/vids/links only gone from the main page (if you click to the single post view do they come back?)

    If they do, then your index page is just showing excerpts and can be easily remedied. As for colours, did you edit the theme directly? If so, that’s why child themes are always recommended….keeps your edits safe

    Talked to host..No chance on the roll back..I had a pic, video, link, contact box etc on the right side bar which stayed as the constant on every page and the left side changed every time I blogged..now the right hand side is basically empty..its all gone..the left column where the content is is fine. As for colour, I think I chose the original fusion theme because it was burgandy (the colour I needed) and now the update is GREY !!
    I want to somehow delete my theme update and just get what I had back.. Is this possible?
