# HELP I lost my wordpress!!!

 * OK, I have made a terrible mistake; I have been having problems with inserting
   media ever since I changed the location of my wordpress from [http://www.myblogsite.com/wordpress](http://www.myblogsite.com/wordpress)
   to [http://www.myblogsite.com.](http://www.myblogsite.com.). Today I went into
   settings and changed the “where is wordpress is installed” location by deleting
   the wordpress in the [http://www.myblogsite.com/wordpress](http://www.myblogsite.com/wordpress)
   field. Now my site doesn’t work at all and I can’t get back to WP-ADMIN to fix
   it. Please help me! Do I just need to backup my database and reinstall WordPress
   on my hosted server? Or is there a fix for this???

 * I was able to go into the MyPHPAdmin and update the site URL directly in there.
