This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks James. Was able to figure out what went wrong. Unfortunately the “Jet Elements” is the one causing the problem. I deactivated it and my site was able to recover. My concern now is whenever I go to wp-cofig-php to change the debugging from true to false – my site is crashing and my Yoast is not working properly. This is what happens whenever I try to open the Yoast:

Warning: include(/home/hnp98em1z5s5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/vendor/composer/../yoast/i18n-module/src/i18n-wordpressorg-v3.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hnp98em1z5s5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/vendor-prod/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 444

Can you let me know how to resolve this? And how can I turn the debugging from true to false without my site crashing.

Let’s deal with that crash here.

Switch off debugging, and assuming your site will then crash, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

As for Yoast, you can reach their support at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/

And, for JetElements, you can reach their support at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/

    Hey James,

I did the reset of my themes and plug ins manually based from the link you sent and even did the FTP manual changes but my site when debug is in false – still crashing. My site design is not there whenever the debugging is off. can you kindly let me know any suggestions or resolutions I can do to resolve this.

    Really appreciate all the help.

Ok, try downloading WordPress again, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.

Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.
