Add a text widget to your sidebar. Post your html in the text widget.

    Hi K,

I have just gone on and done this....but there is an issue, as i only want to have the tabs on the side bar showing as below:

Starting an Internet business (title of text tab/page tab)
(then when they click this tab, it will take them straight away to a site with the relevant information on it)...

the way you had described above when i had completed doing this - the text shows all down my sidebar ...

    any ideas.....

Login and go to dashboard, pages, add new. You can post html into a page.

The apperance of the page can be changed in page.php. I have mine looking just like a blog page but the information is static.

Then in the text widget you can build a link to the page.

    hi k,

    thanks for replying.

    I have gone ahead and..
    1. started a new page, saved the html code in the (html NOT vision) section of the page.

-Where is the style button to click to bring up the html colours etc?
-and how do i add a link from this page through to the text widget as you had explained?

    thanks for your help!

To avoid confusion Pages in WP are capitalized - sorry I didn't do that.

I am not aware of a style button. You can put any color you want in the html. The Page will publish (try it, you can always delete it) with your blogs normal heading, sidebar and footer.

When you publish the Page it will have a permalink. You build a link in the text widget like a normal html link: <a href="put the permalink here" target="_blank">Page title</a>.If you don't want it to open in a new window put parent where _blank is.
